The defendant, John Springmann, Jr., appeals from the judgments of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of five counts of risk of injury to a child in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 1995) § 53-21, as amended by Public Acts 1995, No. 95-142, § l.1 The defendant claims that (1) § 53-21 is unconstitutionally vague because providing alcohol to a minor under certain circumstances may be permitted under General Statutes (Rev. to 1995) § 30-86,2 (2) § 53-21 is unconstitutionally vague and overbroad with respect to the display of pornographic material to minors, (3) the…
