The plaintiff brought his action in the Circuit Court to recover damages for personal injuries received by the fall of a derrick. Plaintiff was the servant of the defendant, and the gravamen of his action is that the master did not exercise reasonable care to render the appliance and the place at which lie set the plaintiff to work reasonably safe.
