Plaintiffs, retired hourly employees of Chromalloy American Corporation (“Chro-malloy”), appeal from the district court’s order granting summary judgment for the defendants in this class action involving claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq., and Section 301(a) of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947, 29 U.S.C. § 185(a). The plaintiffs seek reinstatement of their retiree welfare benefits, which were terminated by Chromalloy after it sold its Kewanee Division where plaintiffs were employed. For the reasons…
