This appeal arises from the denial by the New Canaan planning and zoning commission (commission) of the plaintiffs application for a special permit and site plan approval to construct a mixed use development project that includes residential units dedicated to affordable housing. The plaintiff appealed from the commission’s decision to the trial court, pursuant to General Statutes § S-SOg.* 1 The trial court rendered *96judgment reversing the commission’s decision. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
