Appellant, Avene! Scott, was tried by a jury and found guilty of the Class C felony of theft of public benefits of less than $2,500 but more than $200. The trial court suspended imposition of sentence for two years subject to conditions that included restitution of $4,650.19 to the Arkansas Department of Human Services. Ms. Scott subsequently filed a pro se motion for arrest of judgment and dismissal of charges based upon the statute of limitations.
