The plaintiff, Patricia Panciocco, appeals the decision of the Superior Court (Conboy, J.) granting summary judgment to the defendant, Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation. We affirm.

The record supports the following facts. On August 12,1999, the plaintiff purchased a parcel of land on which she intended to build a house. On the same date, she purchased a title insurance policy, which was issued by the defendant the next day.
