McFADDEN, Justice.

Warm Springs Properties, Inc. (plaintiff-appellant) instituted this action against Andora Villa, Inc. (defendant-respondent) seeking $60,000 special damages and *271$60,000 general damages for the conversion of money on the basis of unjust enrichment.
