Statement of Case.

HIGGINS, J.

This was an action by the appellee to recover damages as the result of the alleged conversion by appellant of 2,760 feet of 6%-ineh oil well casing, shipped by the Oil Well Supply Company, of Fort Worth, Tex., to appellee, from Hamilton, Tex., over the line of the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company of Texas (then being operated by the Director General of Railroads of the United States), and delivered to defendant at Gorman, Tex., on October 24, 1919.
