MEMORANDUM OPINION

Derrick Davis purchased a home with a mortgage loan from World Savings Bank FSB; the loan is allegedly now held by Wachovia Corporation and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., (collectively the “Defendants”). 1 Mr. Davis defaulted on payment of the mortgage, and then brought suit against Defendants asserting claims under District of Columbia common law: breach of contract/breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, promissory estoppel, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.
