This action was brought by plaintiff, a young married woman, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in falling upon a defective sidewalk in a street of the defendant municipality. . The case came to trial in the circuit court of Bay county on January 14, 1910, before a jury, resulting in a verdict and judgment for plaintiff for the sum of $800. A motion by defendant for a new trial was denied, and after certain delays and *645rejudgments, with interest added, which are unimportant here, the case was regularly removed to this court for review upon a writ of error sued out by defendant.
