On January 7, 1944 A. G. Leonard, F. II. Prince and D. H. Reimers, as trustees of the Central Manufacturing District, filed a complaint in the superior court of Cook county against the Autocar Sales and Service Company, a corporation, alleging that on December 1, 1926 they entered into a lease with the defendant whereby they demised certain property at the intersection of Pershing Road and South Hermitage avenue in Chicago for a period of 20 years; that defendant covenanted to pay an annual rental of $10,700 in equal monthly…
