On the 22d day of December, 1860, John Drook made his last will, and on the 16th day of March, 1870, he died the owner of considerable personal property and a quarter' section of land in Grant county, in this State, leaving surviving him his widow, Saloma Drook, and ten children, five sons- and five daughters, viz., Daniel F., Jacob F., "William F., Alfred F., James Monroe F., Mary F.
