In this suit, the libellants, Blanchard Lumber Company (hereinafter “Blanchard”) and Furman Lumber Inc. (hereinafter “Furman”), consignees and owners of certain shipments of lumber bound from British Columbia to Providence, Rhode Island, sue for non-delivery and certain damage to such cargo.
