Tbe county attorney of Douglas county on tbe 18tb day of May, 1901, filed a complaint in tbe district court of that county against William Wenbam, charging bim with tbe violation of sections 1 and 2 of tbe act of tbe legislature of this state approved March 31, 1899, and entitled “An act to regulate and limit tbe hours of employment of females in manufacturing, mechanical and mercantile establishments, hotels and restaurants; to provide for its enforcement and a penalty for its violation.” Session Laws, 1899, cb. 107.
