Plaintiff Sharon Alexander (“plaintiff’) brought this action under 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) seeking judicial review of the decision of defendant Jo Anne Barnhart, Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“defendant or the Commissioner”), denying her application for disability benefits under the Social Security Act.
