This action was brought to recover damages for injuries resulting in the death of Harold James Pringle, alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant.
At the time of the accident, Harold James Pringle was a minor. The plaintiff claims he was between 17 and 18 years of age. He was employed by the defendant as an electrician's helper in its Marysville plant. His duties consisted of oiling and greasing electric motors situated in various parts of the plant, some of which were suspended over large steel vats.
