These were petitions by J. W. G. Cofran and Rudolph Neumann, to procure payment of certain sums claimed by them, respectively, out of money decreed to Thomas Price as salvage, in the suit of said Price against the bark Elmbank. See 62 Fed. 306, and 16 C. C. A. 164, 69 Fed. 104.

1Opinion of the Court

MOBBOW, District Judge.

A decree was entered in this court on July 18, 1895, in favor of the libelant, in accordance with the mandate of the circuit court of appeals, for the sum of $6,000, less the costs of the appeal. The sum awarded was for certain salvage services rendered by the libelant in putting out a fire in the cargo of sulphur stowed in the hold of the hark Elmbank, while the vessel was being discharged at a wharf in the port of San Francisco.
