MEMORANDUM DECISION

BELOT, District Judge.

This is a diversity action to recover attorney’s fees. Plaintiff is a Kansas law firm. Its former client, Sharon J. Lundgren, is a resident of California. Plaintiff initially asserted theories of breach of contract and constructive trust (Doc. 1). It later amended its complaint to add theories of quantum meruit, promissory estoppel, res judicata, collateral estoppel and waiver (Doc. 46).
