This is an application by the state for the issuance of an amended mandate in this proceeding, with a direction that judgment be entered in favor of the state. It was an action by the state to recover on the bonds of Scott county, which were purchased by the state and were held as a part of the permanent school fund. Several defenses were set up by the county, and upon a trial the district court held the bonds to be invalid.
