The Black Tom Terminal of the Be-high Valley Railroad Company extends easterly on a peninsula from the New Jersey side of the Upper Bay of New York. It comprises, roughly speaking, a large number of warehouses situate on one side and a railroad yard surrounded by sea walls and bulkheads, with connecting piers and slips, on the other three sides. The yard is about eleven acres in extent and has twenty-six tracks.
