Plaintiffs, former flight service (“FS”) specialists with the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”), brought this suit against the FAA and the Department of Transportation (collectively “defendants” or the FAA) alleging discrimination on the basis of age, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (“ADEA”), 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq.
