Plaintiff Metrovision of Livonia, Inc. (“Metrovision”) is suing defendants John and Janet Wood for cable piracy. Metrovision is seeking recovery of damages and injunctive relief pursuant to 47 U.S.C. §§ 553 and 605 for unauthorized reception of cable services. Defendants have filed a counter-claim seeking damages for alleged violations of 47 U.S.C. § 551(a) and (d) involving disclosure requirements imposed upon cable companies.…
