This is an original proceeding for writ of habeas corpus, brought by Kermit Snow in which he alleges, in his petition, that he is unlawfully imprisoned and restrained of his liberty in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary at McAlester, Okla., by the warden thereof.

He specifically alleges that the cause thereof is a judgment, sentence and commitment issued by Honorable John L. Norman, who was then district judge of Okfuskee county, Okemah, Okla., on the 26th day of August 1932.
