I. INTRODUCTION

Pro se petitioner Elvis Castillo (“Castillo”) seeks a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Castillo was convicted in New York State Supreme Court, New York County, of six counts each of first and second degree robbery and was sentenced to an aggregate term of 30 years’ imprisonment.
