Coastal Abstract Services, Inc. (“Coastal”) sued First American Title Insurance corp. (“First American”) and one of its officers, John Hollenbeck, asserting three theories of liability: defamation, tortious interference with contract, and false advertising under the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a) (1998). 1 A jury found both de fendants liable under all three theories.
