In this consolidated appeal, Defendant Jorge Guerra-Gareia and Arturo Cavazos challenge their convictions for conspiring to transport an illegal alien within the United States, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(l)(A)(v)(I), and of transporting an illegal alien within the United States, in violation of 8 U.S.C. §§ 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii) and (v)(II). Trial was held in the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
