I. STATEMENT OF CASE
The plaintiff-appellant, Diana J. Humphrey, a minor, by and through her mother and natural guardian, Mary Humphrey, seeks to recover for damages allegedly caused by the negligence of the defendants-appellees, Burlington Northern Railroad Company and The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, also known as Amtrak.
