GIBBONS, Circuit Judge.

Silas McAdoo appeals the district court’s denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. McAdoo pled guilty in Michigan state court to one count of second-degree murder and two counts of assault with intent to commit murder. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he was sentenced to three life sentences to run concurrently. McA-doo later claimed that his attorney misinformed him about the consequences of a life sentence.
