Fifteen years ago, petitioner Elwood Jones was on trial for his life, accused of the murder of Rhoda Nathan. The Ohio jury convicted Jones and recommended the death penalty. He is now before us to appeal the district court’s denial of his petition for habeas relief, arguing that the State of Ohio violated his federal Due Process rights in several ways.
