The major issue presented in this case is whether the falsification ordinance of the city of Columbus, C.C. 2315.08(B), is constitutional.
In the cases of Columbus v. Fisher (1978), 53 Ohio St. 2d 25 [7 O.O.3d 78], and Dayton v. Rogers (1979), 60 Ohio St. 2d 162 [14 O.O.3d 403], this court had the opportunity to consider the validity of two falsification ordinances. While the decisions in those cases provide insight into the resolution of the instant case, they are not dispositive.
