This is an action for property damage arising from the flooding by rain water of a bridal gown shop and photography studio. Separate actions were brought by the plaintiffs Marguerite Poulsen and Harold Poulsen, the tenants, against the landlords, Wilfred and Dorothy Charlton, a general contractor, W. H. Crawford, 1 and a subcontractor, J.G. Meadows Roofing Company. The actions were consolidated and only the issue of liability was tried.
