Plaintiff appealed from an adverse verdict and judgment thereon dismissing his ease against the defendants.
The action was based on a promissory note, executed by the defendants to the plaintiff as payee. The petition was in the usual form and declared on a note for $1,000, dated February 7, 1924, due six months after date, with interest at 8 per cent, per annum. The defendants admitted the signing of the note, denied each and every other allegation of the petition, and alleged that neither defendant received any consideration for signing the note.
