Plaintiffs filed their verified complaint in equity against defendants to enjoin them from violating the provisions of a restrictive agreement entered into between about 500 property owners of property on the South side of Chicago known as the Washington Park subdivision. The restrictive agreement provided against the leasing or selling of any of the premises to persons of the colored race.
