Plaintiff Saflya Hoskins brings this action against the defendants asserting claims for sexual harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, and discrimination based on gender pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2 (2006), as well as tort claims under District of Columbia common law. 1 See Complaint and Prayer for Jury Trial (“Compl.”) ¶ 1.
