O’KELLEY, District Judge.

This 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action is before the court on the plaintiff’s motion to compel his production at trial and also to compel the production of a witness in his behalf. The cause of action in this suit arises from a time when the plaintiff was incarcerated in the Jackson County Correctional Institution and is one for which he seeks some $750,000 in monetary damages for the alleged denial of his constitutional rights by the named defendants.
