Steve Evans appeals from a judgment of the Walker Circuit Court in favor of W.G. Waldrop for unpaid rent. We affirm the trial court’s judgment. ,,
*1068 Procedural History
In 1999, Evans leased from Waldrop a piece of commercial real property (“the property”), which was part of a larger commercial shopping center. The lease term commenced on April 1, 1999, and ended on March 1, 2004. Evans stopped paying rent after May 2000. Accordingly, Waldrop sued Evans, alleging a breach of the lease agreement.
