This controversy arose out of an election for municipal officers of the town of Glenwood Springs, held in April, 1889. The cases were recently before this court upon an appeal from a judgment rendered by the district court of Garfield county, to which court the cases had been removed from the county court by writ of certiorari. The district court, being of the opinion that county courts in the state had no jurisdiction of contests growing out of municipal elections, perpetually prohibited the county court of Garfield county from further proceeding with these contests.
