In a matrimonial action in which the parties were divorced by judgment dated April 3, 1985, the plaintiff-appellant and his appellate counsel and the defendant’s appellate counsel were directed to appear before this court to be heard on the issue of appropriate sanctions or costs pursuant to 22 NYCRR 130-1.1 to be imposed against the appellant or his attorney for their conduct in pursuing a frivolous appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated August 17, 1989 (see, Belsky v Belsky, 172 AD2d 576).
