MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
LUNGSTRUM, Chief Judge.
The plaintiff Michael D. Gower sued the defendant IKON Office Solutions, Inc., his former employer, alleging wrongful discharge in violation of the public policy of Arkansas and breach of contract. The court dismissed the breach of contract claim on summary judgment. See Gower v. IKON Office Solutions, Inc., 155 F.Supp.2d 1268, 1276-77 (D.Kan.2001). Following a four-day trial in August of 2001, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff on his wrongful discharge claim and awarded him $729,199.41 in lost wages and benefits.
