MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
I. Introduction.
This is a sexual battery lawsuit. 1 In August 2002, following a three-day trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendant, Henry Rivera. The plaintiff, Marco Rivera, has filed a motion for new trial (doc. 48).
