OPINION
DAVID A. SCHOLL, Bankruptcy Judge.
The instant matter presents a Debtor’s Objection to a Proof of Claim filed by the Debtor’s mortgagee, Home Unity Savings and Loan Association (hereinafter referred to as “Home Unity”). Our need to make factual determinations as to whether and in what amounts mortgage payments were remitted by the Debtor to Home Unity over a seven-year period on a rather piecemeal record causes us to focus on the burden of proof in such proceedings.
