Veteran William R. Young appealed through counsel a March 19, 2009, decision of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) that denied entitlement to VA disability benefits based on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and referred the issue of entitlement to VA benefits based on a generalized anxiety disorder. On June 30, 2010, the Court issued a memorandum decision modifying the Board decision to reflect a remand to a VA regional office (RO), rather than referral, of that part of the claim for disability compensation for a mental condition other than PTSD and, as modified, affirmed the…
