The appellant, William N. Clemons appeals through counsel a December 6, 2006, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) decision that denied his claim for disability compensation for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Record (R.) at 1-8. The appellant asserts that, although he filed a claim for benefits specifically for “PTSD,” the Board should have considered medical evidence he submitted with his claim that shows he is diagnosed with another acquired psychiatric disorder.
