This appeal is the result of a proceeding in the trial court to determine the amount of compensation due the attorneys of the plaintiff, C. C. Epp, under their lien filed in the action.. From the trial court’s order awarding an attorney fee of $4,000 plaintiff appeals.

The litigation of which this proceeding is the result began in 1910, when appellant engaged Clarence Spooner to commence a suit against the defendants, Hinton, Bane, and Gould, to rescind a contract on the ground of fraud, or in case a rescission could not be had, to…
