I. BACKGROUND
Marvin and Sandra Scribner (“Plaintiffs”) commenced this personal injury action against Defendant Mack Trucks, Inc. (“Mack Trucks”). Plaintiffs allege that, when on *217Mack Trucks’ premises, Marvin Scribner slipped on oil which had been negligently spilled onto the ground by Mack Trucks’ employees. At the time of his fall, Marvin Scribner was employed as a security guard by Protection Technology, Inc. (“Protection”), who had contracted to provide security services on Mack Trucks’ premises.
