CARNES, Circuit Judge:

Willie Collado appeals the district court’s order setting aside the jury verdict in his favor and granting judgment as a matter of law for his employer, United Parcel Service, on his discrimination and retaliation claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq. Most of Collado’s arguments revolve around the McDonnell Douglas Corp. v. Green, 411 U.S. 792, 93 S.Ct. 1817, 36 L.Ed.2d 668 (1973), framework for proving a discrimination case based on circumstantial evidence.
