We shall refer to the Wing Agency as the defendant. Uncontroverted evidence showed that prior to February 8, 1930, the plaintiffs were the owners of the merchandise and fixtures which constituted a grocery store in the city of Medford and that, pursuant to a desire to sell the store, they signed a document prepared by the defendant which, after describing the store and placing upon it a valuation of' $7,000, authorized the defendant as their'agent to find a buyer.
