Defendant, charged with attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree (Penal Law §§ 110.00, 265.01 [1]), moved in an omnibus motion to suppress a gun recovered following the search, by parole officers, of the apartment in which he resided and statements that he made to the police after his arrest.
