This is a consolidation of three suits at law brought by each of the three plaintiffs, respectively, seeking a rescission of various transactions between them and defendants for alleged violations of the Illinois Securities Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1953, ch. 121%, sec. 97 et seq. [Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 13.02 et seq.]) and the Federal Securities Act of 1933 (Title 15, Ch. 2A, Par. 77a et seq.). Defendants filed counterclaims for the plaintiffs’ proportionate share of the cost of equipping and maintaining certain oil .wells.
