OPINION

LUTTIG, Circuit Judge:

Appellant Joe Louis Wise, Sr., appeals from a decision of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. We affirm.

On November 8, 1984, Wise was convicted in the Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Circuit Court of capital murder, grand larceny, armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
